Robo-dog will go on sale in this year

the engineers of Robotic Systems Lab from ETH Zurich presented the amazing abilities of their walking robot called ANYmal. The robot, reminiscent of its robotic-looking appearance from the Boston Dynamics company, has just had interesting abilities that allow it to move freely around the buildings.

According to the plan of specialists from Switzerland, the machine will be great as a helper for dangerous missions in mines, oil and gas platforms. The robot is also to be used in rescue operations after the occurrence of cataclysms and anti-terrorist missions.

ANYmal is expected to reach commercial sales this year, so if you are interested in having a robotic-porter or partner in your extreme escapades, you can have it for just over 12k dollars.

Robot weighs 30 kilograms and is able to carry loads up to 10 kilograms, so you can put it in the boot in the car, and in field you will be carrying a backpack with the equipment. In the meantime, see how this capable machine copes in field and buildings.
