Physicists at CERN say that the Universe should not exist

Antimatter is unstable. It's very hard to get it in accelerators. However, previous research on it shows us that contact with ordinary matter leads to annihilation, which results in the generation of huge amounts of clean energy.

Such a process was observed both when combining a hydrogen molecule and an anti-hydrogen, and recently a proton and an antiproton. This means that when looking through the prism of the Standard Model, in the Big Bang, the same matter and antimatter had to be created. But if that was the case, the particles would annihilate each other leaving material emptiness and exorbitant amounts of energy behind them, not galaxies and planets.

In the near future, scientists want to go even further and conduct the ALFA experiment. It is possible that he will throw a little more light on this problem and solve the mystery of the origin and development of the Universe, because at the moment we know only that it should not exist at all.
