Politicians do not want to discuss the subject...the media ignores is almost completely....the fortune 1000 companies love it since it enables them to do away with labor costs.....

The bottom line is that technological unemployment is real and it is coming hard and fast. Forrester Research came out with a report the other day that says it believes 9% of the US jobs will be automated in 2018 because of the implementation of 500K bots. I feel this is a bit too aggressive but it does emphasize the point: there are going to be millions of jobs lost in the next 3-5 years due to automation.

AI is going to completely change everything. The ironic thing, for all the publicity, is that it isnt here yet. When true AI hits, jobs will be eliminated left and right.
