TECHNOLOGICAL and POLITICAL REVOLUTION

Reflecting on the Brexit and Trump issues in attempt to digest the turmoil of what is going on in the World, I truly believe there is an answer in Technology.

As the Political Revolution of Brexit and Trump continues it is being mirrored by a Technological Revolution and Trend.

The Technology that is set to have the biggest impact on the World in the next 20 years is not mobility, big data, cloud computing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, but Blockchain the underlying technology of Bitcoin.

It is this technology that will effectively become the third generation of the Internet.

Up until now interacting with the Internet you are in essence relying of the interaction of a middleman, or intermediary, by means of sharing and passing on.

These intermediaries do a reasonable good job but have their vulnerabilities and flaws, not to mention the fact that they are centralised and therefore dictated.

It is these systems that have also been developed in the mid to late 1970's that have effectively come to the end of their lifespan.

This is all about change..!!

Global Distributed Digital Ledger

The future will see a Global Distributed Digital Ledger that will sit on the Internet and effectively transform the Internet from the Internet of Information to the Internet of Value.

Think of it as a large Spreadsheet that everyone can see, has access to and can see all transactions that have taken place.

It's just A BIG SPREADSHEET..!!

Hand in Hand

As we move on through 2017 both the Political Revolution and Technological Revolution will go "Hand in Hand" and Blockchain will be there to stitch them both together.

Exciting and challenging time is an understatement and we should all welcome Blockchain with open arms and embrace the potential it will bring.
