Well, I am going to explain one simple trick to boost -up your old or new windows computer. That's called Disk Cleanup process.

What is Disk Cleanup?

Disk cleanup is the kind of process to increase the performance of the operating system in your computer. Sometimes it's called as the multi stop solution for everything to boost up your PC. Disk cleanup will include kind of activities like Removing temporary files, memory dumping files, Recycle Bin files, Windows error files, extra thumbnails etc.

Disk Cleanup Process

Firstly, we all know that windows OS get's installed on the C drive. So what we need to do is we should clean up this disk cleanup process on the C drive First. So Follow these simple steps to do that process in simple and easy way..

Step1: Click on the My Computer Icon on your laptop screen. It will take you to the list of drives that available, These are the drives that you divided your hard disk memory size in different sizes into different drives while installing the operating system.

Step2: Under the my computer select the 'C' drive and then right click on it.

Step3: Now popup will appear now click on the properties option As shown below.

Step4: Now find the disk cleanup option in the pop up and click on that button.

Step5: It will take some time like one to 2 minutes to show the list of things to clean up. Then, as soon another window appears, select all the options like recycle bin, temporary files, windows error files, etc. Select all the options in the list and then click on okay.

And then another window will appear, select permanently delete all the files option as shown in below

Step6: Wait for sometime until the cleaning process completes. Once the process completes restart the computer. Then see your computer becoming really fast compared to before cleaning process done.
