How Hyper-Realistic Masks from Japan are Made

Below is a very interesting short film from BBC about how hyper-realistic face masks are being manufactured by a small company in Japan.

Using 3-D modeling & printing techniques, plus some digital photo overlays and fine-tuning by hand, a highly lifelike mask can be created.

The founder of the company sees lots of potential for incorporating with robots. Sorta creepy, sorta cool!
