Formula Student - Riteh Racing Team
Hello all !
I'm a member of Riteh Racing Team and I want to introduce You with Formula Student competition and my Team.
It is Europe's most established educational motorsport competition. Backed by industry and high-profile engineers, the competition aims to develop innovative young engineers.
Every team is tasked to produce a prototype for a single-seat race car for autocross or sprint racing, and present it to a hypothetical manufacturing firm. Each team goes through a rigorous testing process, made up of static and dynamic events.
Riteh Racing Team had been established in 2007 in Rijeka, Croatia. Firstly there were 9 members, and today we count around 40 members including students of engineering, marketing and design.
Until now, Team has made 4 race cars and now working on a new one. On the photos is our last car, RRC4, which was made in 2016.
How did your team do? What kind of car do u have, electric or combustion? Must admit it looks really cool, and congrats, always good to see girls come to the sport that was almost exclusive for man. Good job and good luck :)
RRC4 is a car with internal combustion engine.
This year we enrolled two competitions.
The first one was FS Italy 2017, where we got these results:
4/51 endurance (only combustion, class 1c)
6/70 endurance (combustion and electric)
10/51 overall (combustion)
The second competition was Baltic Open Bohemia in Czech Republic. It is a smaller competition where we were 4/11. Electric cars and cars with combustion engine weren't separated in different categories. If they were, we would be 2nd overall.
