Awesome article. In the summer we have an off grid place that runs almost entirely on solar, we only need the generator to pump water. It would be neat to see a Steemit innitiative where we make money for the poorer people to afford solar! It takes a couple thousand dollars as a beggining investment, but could do soo much long term good. Also, I hope batteries will become more efficient, and that will entirely help!
