Tutorial: How to know whether a micro SD card is Fake or Original

There are different kinds of Memory Card sold Now days, some aren’t Original, am sure you’ve encounter some issues where you are using your memory card, something like slow Copying or moving files to the Memory Card, Sometimes you try to play songs or videos on it and it fails, Then you decided to format it and you got an error like, “windows was Unable to Complete the format ” on Windows.

These Problems are “sometimes” caused by virus, but often than not the Memory Card might not be an Original have had the same issues above with Memory Card, so enough of this talk.

Here's how to know if a micro SD is fake or Original:

• Go to google Playstore Download an App called SD Insight
• Put the Memory Card in your phone then open the application
• If the App display the Manufacturers logo and more details about the Memory Card

Check below Picture

• Then you’ve got yourself an Original memory card
• If you see “unknown” Manufacturer there is a higher chance that the Memory Card is not an Original
