๐๐๐Do you think about the processor while purchasing a smartphone ?๐ค๐ค๐ค
Hello friends,
About 99/100 youngsters and 78/100 old person uses smartphone.
Most people were get confused which processor performs well. Some of them thinks that an octacore processor always performs better than a quadcore processor.
I
f you also think that than read below to find which type of processor performs well.
If we talk about mobile processor manufacturing companies there are mainly 4 big smartphone chip manufacturing companies .
- Qualcomm.
- Mediatek.
- Nvidia.
- Samsung.
These company needs a architecture to make processing chip.
A company ARM provide processor chip's architecture.
Now, when go to market to purchase a smartphone, we have few questions in our mind that phone was lagging or not, is it heat up or not, how was battery performance of smartphone.
All these three points were connected to the processor of smartphone and when we compare 2 or more than 2 smartphone we only see cores and Ghz. We all knows that bigger was better, therefore we think octacore is better than quadcore and 2 Ghz is better than 1.5 Ghz.
Is it right way to choose a smartphone ?
Today, I will tell you how can we compare processor of two smartphones.
We can compare processor in four easy steps : -
1. Architecture.
A architecture building company ARM give a layout to smartphone company with a license. ARM optimizing its layout time to time like before cortex A-5 then A -7, A-9, A-11, A-15, A-53, A-55, A-57, A-59.
Bigger number was new optimized layout.
2. Technology.
A processor have a large numbers of small transistors and the size of transistor explains processor's technology.
Small size transistor was better technology.
Small transistors work fast and consume less power.
Companies build transistors according to the architecture they have.
According to transistors size samsung and snapdragon were in first position of transistor size 10 Nm. Qualcomm older chips also comes with size 20 Nm. Mediatek have size 20-28 Nm.
Small transistor size have better efficiency and speed.
3. Number of cores.
Cores was like hand of the processor.
Dual core have two hands.
Quadcore have four hands.
Hexacore have six hands.
Octacore have eight hands.
Decacore have ten hands.
In present processor with octacore and decacore was most advanced processor if it have good architecture and technology.
4. Frequency.
Frequency was the term used for number of times per second. Its unit was Hertz (Hz)
We use Mega Hertz and Giga Hertz for processor's frequency.
Many times we hear about frequencies that this processor is of 2 Ghz that means processor will work 20 crore times in 1 second.
Processor works smartly according to task.
It can done the piece of work in one time or do the same work in 100 times. Its depends upon architecture, technology and cores of the processor.
Of course high frequency processor give better performance. But high frequency processor also consume more power.
