HTC just unveiled their new flagship for the year 2018, the HTC U12+. It is an upgrade to the last year's U11+.

Display and Frame:

U12+ has a 6" super LCD6 display which supports HDR10 and DCI-P3. Though its not an amoled panel but it is good enough for an average user. It is an 18:9 display with a resolution of 1440*2280 resolution with a 537 pixel per inch. Like last year's U11+ this phone also has a pressure sensitive frame which enables squeeze feature to launch certain apps.

Camera:

This phone comes with dual rear camera and dual front cameras, a total of 4 cameras. Rear cameras features a 12MP Ultrapixel sensor along with a 16MP shooter which is a 2x optical zoom and portrait mode and stuff. The main lens has a f/1.8 lens with OIS and phase detection and laser autofocus. Front cameras are both 8MP shooters for front facing portrait modes.

Specifications:

HTC U12+ is packing the latest and greatest just like last year. It has a snapdragon 845 chipset along with 6GB of ram. Base storage is 64GB and can be expanded with micro-sd card.

Miscellaneous:

The phone has dual stereo speakers, one is at the bottom and the other is at the earpiece. It uses a USB type C for charging and supports quick charge 4.0 but doesn't has wireless charging. The phone ships with android 8.0 oreo out of the box. It has a 3,500 mAh battery which is down from last year's 3930 mAh. And yes it doesn't have a headphone jack.

Translucent blue version with 64GB of internal memory will cost 799$ and 849$ for the 128GB version.
