Hybrid Cloud
Hybrid cloud infrastructures combine on premise systems with cloud services. Part of the IT is managed by the user company itself, part is outsourced to flexible, scalable cloud applications and the interfaces are connected via system components. In this way, the advantages of both models can be combined. For example, special requirements such as the flexible scalability of a cloud solution can be combined with protected resources in the company's own network.
Advantages of a Hybrid Cloud
- More dynamics possible through flexible addition of cloud resources for temporary loads
- Combining the cost advantages of the public cloud (through resource sharing and pay-as-you-go principle) with the security requirements of the private cloud (control and security of all data and services)
- Uncritical data and processes can be processed in a public cloud and more sensitive data and programs can be processed in a private cloud or on-premise
