Huge news for Canadians!

Starting December 1st all phones bought from carriers will be unlocked. The CRTC (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission) banned the sale of locked phones and prohibited an unlocking fee. So as of December 1st you can go to your Canadian mobile carrier and unlock your phone for free. This is going to allow more flexibility for customers and encourage competition in the wireless mobile scene.
