Integrated CPU Vs. Dedicated GPU? Which is useful for you?

For the purchase of a new PC, especially when buying a laptop, expert users who are in the ultimate configuration of the graphics card selection

The graphics card does not seem to be thinking while buying a graphics card because any graphics card can be mounted on the motherboard later. But when purchasing laptops, battery back-up, weight, display size, RAM, along with graphics cards, will also be important. Because you can not change these things later on the laptop. There are a few types of graphics cards in laptops that you will see written in Prospectus when buying laptops such as integrated, discrete, dedicated etc. Here's one thing we can say to remove the Confusion: Discrete and Dedicated, both of them have the same meaning. So basically laptops have two graphics cards, one is Integrated and the other is Dedicated graphics card. In today's tiny tune I will try to highlight the difference between these two types of graphics cards and the benefits and benefits of both of them. Especially if you are thinking of buying a gaming laptop then you must pay a special attention to the graphics card. So let's go straight to the main content of the tune by not raising the role and saying:

Integrated graphics card

I'm talking about Integrated Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). Integrated graphics cards do not use their own RAM, they basically manage their activities on your system RAM. Suppose your PC has 4 GB of RAM, in this case the video card will work with 1 to 5 percent of your free RAM. These percentages are determined automatically based on your work. For example, while working in the work, less is used, while on the other hand they need more graphic graphics during game play or multitasking, etc. They automatically determine the percentage of usage.

The main advantage of integrated graphics is that it is very cheap! What is the cheapest position 3! Integrated graphics cards are less hit than other graphics, and cost less power units. Perfect for the laptop's long battery life. Generally, laptops with these graphics cards are suitable for general activities such as working in the studio, browsing the net, watching movies or playing 2D games. But this graphics card is not suitable for multitasking or gaming. Usually, we now see the use of integrated graphics cards on low-end tablets, laptops and computers. Computers with integrated graphics card will see the graphics card is not written with any different details! Many times when we buy a laptop, we do not see any text on the graphics card in its configuration list. Because there is an integrated GPU, there are no written entries separately. Many times we think the laptops do not have the GPU! Not really!

Dedicated graphics card

Dedicated graphics cards have their own video memory system. Laptop dedicated graphics cards are like computer graphics cards. This graphics card does not depend on your system's RAM. Suppose your laptop has 8GB of RAM and has a 2 GB GTX 680M graphics card. Graphics card here will work with its 2GB of memory, your system will not catch 8 gigabytes of RAM. If you are a professional graphic designer or a serious type gamer, laptops with these dedicated graphics cards will be perfect for you when you buy a laptop.

Dedicated graphics cards rely on some external objects to perform well. The first is Perfect Design! Graphics design must match with laptop design. There is no hand on which we have no hand, so no other word has been raised about this. The fan is the next! Yes! This type of graphics card consumes lots of hits so there should be good quality fan or cooling system. In the current high-end graphics cards, there is a liquid cooling system instead of a fan, which provides a good service silently from the fan. Another thing to keep playing on is that these dedicated graphics cards pull the power unit quite well. So these graphics card laptops do not get charge backup, but the high-end configurations laptops are different. So in the end, dedicated graphics cards are basically priced.

If you want to take a rough budget laptop with a dedicated graphics card, then the laptop should not be dependent on the default cooling system. Make arrangements for at least two separate fans, including a separate vented cover. And without high-end laptops, do not run in batteries without needing in medium or low budget laptops. And if you do more type of laptop type, then I'll tell you to buy a different keyboard. Because the laptop keyboard can be wiped by typing length on the laptop keyboard.

Nowadays some of the hybrid laptops are also available which have graphics cards that support these two types. That means when you do normal tasks, it will be in Integrated mode and when you play games it will work in Dedicated mode. And these dual-mode graphics cardwala laptops are now being built separately for high-end configurations. Because of the high-end laptops battery life and performance, this requires dual-mode graphics.

Always good to learn new things, thanks bro.

Your title is incorrect. It should be like Integrated GPUs VS Discrete GPUs

Thanks for sharing this great info man!. I had a problem in differentiating them

Integrated graphics cards are often not powerful. Sure, undemanding games won't be laggy, but if you want to play something demanding, you'll be disappointed. I recently played GTA V all night. My graphics card couldn't handle the load and burned out. I decided to buy a new graphics card. There are many of them on the internet, but I was looking for the best RTX 3080 ti. I heard that these graphics cards are the most powerful, and I can play all video games. Even the ones that will come out in 7 years. I hope that will be the case.
