The IMPEDIMENT

Good morning great minds,
In continuation to my earlier post, "Thinking me". Today I will be talking about the impediments, the but....that pushes me back limiting me from being a better me and consequently making the necessary changes to influence the world positively.

Some of these impediments include but not limited to the following :
A. Norm
B. Friends
C. Environment
D. Upbringing
E. Training

Let me briefly highlight on each of these impediments to positive change.
A. Norm: There is this saying "that's how I met it, that is how we used to do" people seem to be comfortable doing what they are used to even when they know it is wrong. It takes a strong decision to change people from norm. You see certain things that are so wrong but people prefer it to even a simple better way. Just because that is what they are used to.

So even if what they are used to is bad they keep to it.

B. Friends : The saying " evil communication corrupts good manner" is so true here. If you follow bad company you will be bad. It is easy for bad to corrupt good than for good to bad. So if you must make change you must choose the right kind of friends.

C. Environment : Your environment go a long way to shape your person. If you grow up in a bad and corrupt environment, the tendency you will be corrupt is high. You may not really have choice of your environment you grow up. But you can dare to be different by taking that strong decision to be the change agent.

D. Upbringing : The Bible says " Train up a child in the way he should go and when he grows up he will not depart from it. If you had a corrupt upbringing you are likely going to be corrupt. To make a change requires basic training and good upbringing.

E. Training : You can train yourself to be different. Training is a key to change. Lack of training or poor training direct to poor output. You you want to be different you must train yourself to be so.
