Here's another one for you, almost released, you can try the beta: Briar. It really really interesting because it allows offline message transmission using bluetooth, so if you're in a city for example your messages could get around via other peoples devices on your network in the event of an internet shutdown.

Of course bluetooth isn't super secure, but I believe they're using good encryption on top of that at least.
