The scientists at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems Formally known as Max Planck Institute for Metals Research Have Researchers who are at their Institute who have proposed a new approach to giving imagery realistic textures when being magnified from Smaller Too Large. The team applied artificial intelligence and an adaptive algorithm for up sampling the image, so it can learn from experience to improve in result’s. The learning process is much like that of a human, researchers said.

EnhanceNet-PAT and SISR Technology
When EnhanceNet-PAT is put to work, according to the researchers, the technology is more efficient than any other SISR technology currently on the market, it can detect and generate patterns in a low-resolution image and apply these patterns in the up-sampling process, EnhanceNet-PAT thinks how pricks on a pineapple should look like and adds extra pixels to the low-resolution image accordingly. SISR or Smart Input Space is a technology to automatically recognize the standard ICC color profile that has been used to generate the CMYK values of an image.
