You NEED to remove that protective plastic sheet off the display of your DVM! ;) interesting to see a writeup about this topic, I enjoy electronics and problem solving so this was pretty simple for me but probably not for the average person.
Ahah yeah the plastic has been around since i own it. Normally i take these off at once, you notice it more on the photo .
I tried not to extend it to nerd level, so it doesn't get too boring or with too much info.
