SFDC Acquired Mulesoft

Salesforce.com finalized the acquisition of MulSoft for $ 6.5 billion on March 20.
Mullsoft's market capitalization is valued at about $ 5.7 billion on the New York Stock Exchange.
MuleSoft's revenue in 2016 was $ 187.7 million, up 70% from the previous year.
Mullsoft raised $ 221 million last month in New York with a $ 17 offer per stock.
The company has a solution that manages APIs that act as intermediaries to exchange data between different company’s applications. API management solutions offer both cloud and on premises.
Salesforce is expected to strengthen force.com with the acquisition of MuleSoft.
