Why Netflix won't let you write reviews any more

Netflix one of the most popular site fro watching shows and web series finally announced that they are going to remove the review a show feature from their site.
Actually Netflix allows their Desktop users to write a review for a show and new users watch that shows after seeing reviews.
But According to Netflix This feature won't help their users .This feature is now less popular.According to Netflix Thumbs up/Thumbs down is more popular then to write a Review.

Netflix sent an email to all the persons who write reviews on their site to tell them about the change .The email reads ,

"You contributed a Review on the netflix within the last year.We wanted to let you know that this feature is no longer available after 30th July due to decreasing usage"

"we appericiate you taken time to write a review.Your Review are on the site netflix.com/reviews through july 30th ".

Many user reported the netflix that reviews are useful for us .With reviews we track the popularity of a show.

Netflix in response said that the reason behind this decision is the declining popularity of reviews in the users .This future is no more helping their users .Thumbs up/Thumbs down is two times more popular than review system .

By the way the , the process is open to abuse. If enough users do not came across to remove reviews , May be the feature can stay there.
