The giant clock built by Bezos is unique. The clock in it does not move with the count of seconds, minutes, or hours.

The new needle will move once every year to change. Another needle shifted as a decade passed. Finally, there are alarm sounds coming out every 1,000 years passed.

Indeed this giant clock project originated from the idea of ​​Danny Hillis. The concept about it has been Hillis since 1989.

Currently the clock-making process is still running. A mountain in West Texas became an option to create the millennium clock. It will be placed at a height of 500 meters.

The construction team uses geothermal energy as a source of energy. In a video released by Bezos via his Twitter account, a group of workers busy moving and installing a clock machine inside a drilled mountain.
