Multiprogramming operating system can be enhanced by simultaneously managing multiple programs simultaneously. For this reason, all programs must be together in the main memory. The main obstacle in the multiprogramming approach is the main memory limitation. Such an obstacle is a bigger program. So the program is divided into different parts. Major memory limitations lead to problems during processing of major memory large programs at low cost. The Virtual Storage operating system is used to overcome this limit of major memory. In this system, one part of the program is brought from the memorials to the main memory for the execution of the program. At this time, the other part of the program and the data remain in the memory. As a result, at the same time, it is easy to rely on parts of many programs to focus on the main memory. Thus, the limitations of the capacity of the main memory can be removed and the main memory is the capacity of garlic to be user. Virtual storage system is used to help memory and to transfer the connection directly.It is called swapping. Virtual storage is implemented in two ways for mutual cooperation with hard wires and software. The operating systems used to implement virtual storage are-VAX/VMS,IBM/VM,WANG/V etc.
