Took a couple for a test ride. The interior is not as nice as cars in the price range. The upgraded seats are more comfortable and worth it. IM 6ft 130lbs and it is comfortable for a long ride. They don't seem like they'd be comfortable for someone 200lb+

I did think for that kind of money they would be a bit more luxurious compared to other cars in that price bracket.
I definitely will give them both a test drive but getting in and out.
I found it surprisingly difficult.
I drive a Prius at the moment and access and egress is excellent.
My next car will have to be something special for me to change.
At 6 feet tall didn't you find them a tad cramped?
There was plenty of room inside but just a couple of inches of headroom and I'm 5:8.
I'm waiting to see the $30,000 Tesla due out this year.
Then I'll test drive them all but those overhead door pillars are way to low in my experience.

Thanks for the information. I can see my self banging my head every now and then.

I tried every door in the Model S and all of them were low in my view. The front door pillars are way too low. It's a very sporty design and I guess all sporty cars are a little tight to get into?
Maybe I'm not bendy enough lol

I doubt they thought too many #oldtimers would be interested in their cars. I need to stick with my truck then.

Their target market would be CEO's or high level sales people I assume.
They are competing with top end BMW and Mercedes at that price point.
Many of the #oldtimers will go for these on economic grounds.
Because I think they give away free electricity (fuel) for life when you buy one?
I may be mistaken about that part but I heard it somewhere?

Futuristic, thank you!

My pleasure. They are a very interesting new development in car manufacturing.
I'm pretty sure this is the way things will go. Volvo have just announced that they are bringing out five new models. All electric cars.
