until these are being mass produced for the major airlines i don't see anything different. Air France tried supersonic passenger flights and it nearly bankrupt them. The fuel costs alone make the endeavor an expensive flight for the average joe. The sonic boom's were never really an issue, aside from being only capable of landing at select out-of-the-way airports. Also, as the Concorde grew older, they tried expanding the number of airports in it's flights. supersonic flights began to slow to sub sonic speeds as they began to near these other airports, adding time to their flights. I'd love to see this happen, as i am all for a Cleveland to Miami flight in an hour, or maybe even a Cleveland to Rio De Janeiro in 2.5 hrs non stop.... but sadly i do not think these days will ever return...
