Virtual Reality vs Augmented Reality

As we have all seen on a number of occasions augmented reality has begun to surface in modern day technology, we see this in the popular mobile game "Pokemon Go" also in the glassware prototyped by Google, "Google Glass." Augmented reality is basically the stitching together of a virtual world with the world around us, though it may be on a small scale, it still seems possible that it is a big candidate for the lead role of not only the future of gaming but also the technology industry as a whole. However, this is not the only player fighting for the number one spot.

Virtual reality may be not as relatively new as augmented reality but the industry still has much to achieve with this technology.
Virtual reality games and systems have already been created. These games and systems allow players to be placed into a virtual world where they can interact and move around as they please.

I think both of these ideas have a pretty crazy future ahead of them, but only time will tell.
