Neural Lace will bring more drawbacks, than benefits. People will not be smarter by being connected to the Internet all the time. We don't have deficit of information, but too much of them. Average man do not know what to focus on. What is valuable info and what is not. What about the possibility of your mind being hacked?
Those are issues that will need to be solved in the future. As for now, we can only speculate.
