Perhaps the most important question is its value. According to Jeff Chung his price would be around $ 45,000, that is, $ 10,000 more expensive than his rival Tesla Motors whose Model 3 is $ 35,000. In addition to this detail, the Byton is capable of reaching 97 kilometers per hour in 5 seconds, which means it is slower than its competitor Tesla.
Another important fact is that Tesla offers its customers about 8,500 "Superchargers" around the world; Byton has no station. So if you have a Byton and you run out of battery in full track, there will be no place where you can load your vehicle.
Perhaps most of the disadvantages of Byton make it seem unfeasible against its competitor Tesla. But you have to remember that it's a new concept and you need time to get the same confidence as other car brands, plus you have to remember the BMW-APPLE Alliance that gives many expectations for this project
