5G is not a new thing in the realm of technology. Although not yet commercial, this technology is ready to be implemented for cellular needs after the standarisasinya set a number of operators this year.

One form of implementation of the most widely heard 5G technology is the presence of 5G-based smartphone, which is said to be sliding. by the end of 2018.

ZTE touted as the first candidate to gush 5G smartphone. And reportedly, ZTE plans to release 5G smartphone will start in the United States (US).

The reason ZTE chose Uncle Sam's country as the first country launch of 5G smartphone is none other because the vendor from the Bamboo Curtain country has already promised to expand its mobile device business portfolio in the US.

According to information launched by Phone Arena on Tuesday (16/1/2018), ZTE CEO Lixin Cheng justify it is planning to launch a smartphone with the ability of the fifth generation in the US. Most likely to be released by the end of 2018, or as late as early 2019.

If it is true ZTE became the first vendor to release a 5G smartphone, it means it can be superior to other vendors. Because, until this moment, major vendors such as Samsung and Apple has not been revealed whether they will also work on 5G-based smartphones or not.

However, ZTE's plan could have been delayed from the specified. Therefore, companies still have to rely on the readiness of equipment and 5G support components this year. If it is ready, of course ZTE will speed the production process.

ZTE itself with Qualcomm and China Mobile have been working together to create a data testing system for the 5G network, which promises to serve wireless data with several gigabits per second.

Launched by Venture Beat, this cooperation also marks a new step in the process of making mobile broadband services faster and phone calls more reliable. The three companies created a 5G NR end-to-end testing system, which demonstrates data connections based on the 3GPP R15 standard.

That is, companies are making progress by trying to test the quality of data transmission on a 5G network. This new technology will replace the 4G LTE network for phone calls and the internet. The 3GPP standard itself is important because it is a 5G global radio technology.

This multi-vendor collaboration is also a new achievement in the process of piloting the 5G standard in 2018 and commercially launching the 5G network in 2019.

The company's third testing demo was conducted at China Mobile's 5G Joint Innovation Center, which uses ZTE's proprietary 5G Base Station (BS) and Qualcomm's NR sub-6 GHz prototype chip. The system operates on a 3.5GHz spectrum and supports 100 MHz bandwidth.

4G LTE.

The 5G network can handle mobile broadband tasks, such as HD video streaming, can provide better Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) experiences, and provide reliable services for autonomos, drone and industrial control cars.

Vice President of China Mobile Communication, Li Zhengmao, said China Mobile is committed to promoting global 5G standards integrated with various industry partners. Testing the testing process with Qualcomm and ZTE will be an important milestone for the 5G standard.

"China Mobile is willing to work with partners including Qualcomm and ZTE to promote that 5G products will continue to grow and the 5G industry will be successful," Zhengmao said.
