The American intelligence gained information about Railguna, from which it appears that the gun will be fully ready for military operations in 5 years. Then it will be able to fire 10 rounds per minute with the energy of 32 megajoules, all at a speed of 9,200 km / h. The device is to be able to target targets 200 kilometers away at speeds up to 6000 km / h.

If the information obtained by the CIA is true, at the moment China has much more advanced technology than the United States. Confirmation of these premises may be the installation of an electromagnetic shield on the ship and tests on the assessment. The Pentagon has a department from the BAE System, which is still too large overall and is therefore tested only on land.
