This is scaring! I was really thinking to Ben Franklin's quote and wanted to comment your post with it... but you did it first... ;) This is really an open doors to abusive behaviors on all ways, both by people who want to milk the system and by the system on good people who are just not socially popular. I hope they won't do it at the end of the day (dunno how things are 100% sure for now).
It is scaring indeed mate, the implications of something like this could be very serious and that region (Asia) should be careful and not allow something like this to become popular in other countries, which might be a considerable risk given the importance and big influence of China.
But this is an example of technology being used in a potentially harming way.
Yeah... one example about many... I didn't think about the consequences of having this spreading outside China, but this is even more scary...
