Android has a wide range in all aspects and although not all users use it.
The facility to obtain root access puts in the palm of our hands the ability to customize even the smallest aspect of the system. IOS, the operating system with which Apple works, has a lot of apple brand strength, but Android belongs to another giant, Google, and besides being a search engine and being an operating system for mobile devices. There are many Services offered by Google and its great integration with Android adds nothing to it.

3) You can install apps that are not on Google Play.
There are apps that are really useful but are not on Google Play. F-Droid, one of the open source apps stores, where you can find really interesting content, you have to install it from external sources. Or Amazon Underground, where there are games and payment applications whose download is free - and without in-app purchases. That's unimaginable in iOS. In an iPhone, you have to stay what is in the AppStore.

The reasons why Android is really the best are many and there is no doubt that it has nothing to envy of Apple's fame, has many and better benefits. So if you have not joined, buy a phone with Android operating system and start to enjoy everything you have for you.
That it depends on how you think. I use android from every phone I was having because i was not like how the other company thinks. You must pay for everything and it will not give you the freedom to chose. I have a phone on Android and i am not giving my phone even if someone will give me 10 from the best ios they have just for switch to them. I am not a fan and if something more powerful will come i swith to that. In life you must go forward not be a brainwashed and go backwords.

Generally speaking, I prefer Android over iOS and one of the main reasons for me to do so is that it offers much more options and a much better value for money.
But I see one advantage that iOS has that you didn't mention. Since there are very few actual devices that run iOS and they are all made by Apple, the operating system and the hardware work very well together and it's all optimized so the two get get the best out of each other. On the other hand, Android is an operating system that has to run on hundreds or even thousands of different devices with all kinds of ships and components and because of that it can never be as efficient and as stable as iOS. So generally speaking an Android device will experience bug a bit more often than an iOS one.
Additionally some smartphone makers like Samsung seem to preinstall too much bloatware and their software updates start making the devices more sluggish with time.
Of course, I'm still squarely fall in the Android camp as I can choose devices that are the exact size and specs I want and the operating system is much more flexible and customizable which is something I tend to take advantage of. Also, not having a back button drives me crazy while using the iPad we have laying around here.

I love my iphone and iOS. I has lot of bad experience with my Samsung and Tablet base on Android. iOS is designed for Apple Products and there are not many of them, so i think they do everything better.
