Amazon Go — the first shop in the world without banks and queues

Amazon introduced the concept of the supermarket of the future, totally delivered from the point-of-sale and queue-related purchases.

In Seattle opens first offline shop Amazon Go where no sellers, banks and queues.

Amazon Go will open in early 2017, is currently working for the employees of Amazon in the beta program.

As specified on the official website of the us retailer, the store used technologies similar to those used in unmanned vehicles, computer vision, fusion of sensors and deep learning.


Before entering the store, you need to install a free app Amazon Go.

And register.

After registration, you can safely go to the store to take the products off the shelves and put them in the bag, even in pocket.

The idea is to automatically track the actions of visitors on the trading floor, controlling what they take from the shelves or put back.

Each product taken from shelves, will be automatically added to your account.

Payment will occur at the exit of the store.

The purchase amount is automatically deducted from your account
