It all really started back in 1894. Nobody could predict this. But one man was light years ahead from others, maybe even more. On the picture here, we see a brand new remote car key, from Tesla Motors Inc.

Who knows maybe he even saw that in his brilliant mind!

In 1894, the first "thing" of wireless controlling at a distance was during a demonstration by the British physicist Oliver Lodge, in which he made use of a Branly's coherer to make a mirror galvanometer move a beam of light when an electromagnetic wave was artificially generated.

This was further renewed by radio innovators Guglielmo Marconi and William Preice, at a demonstration, on December 13, 1896, in London, in which they made a bell ring by pushing a button in a box that was not connected by any wires or anything else for that matter.

In 1898 Nikola Tesla filed his patent, US Patent 613,809.

The fact is, Nikola invented so many useful things in his lifetime but named this the"Method of Apparatus for Controlling Mechanism of Moving Vehicle or Vehicles", demonstrating how can he, by radio control move a boat during an electrical exhibition at Madison Square Garden.

Tesla called his boat a "tele-automaton", or whatever:P

BEST FRIEND?

The first remote intended to control a television was developed by Zenith Radio Corporation in 1950. The remote, called "Lazy Bones", was connected to the television by a wire, haha, it is funny today. Like playing PS2 or something similar.

A wireless remote control, the "Flashmatic remote", was developed in 1954 by Eugene Polley. It worked by shining a beam of light onto a photoelectric cell, but the cell did not distinguish between light from the remote and light from other sources, so it was kinda hard to use it sometimes. The Flashmatic also had to be pointed very precisely at the receiver in order to work at all, but still, a huge step forward.

I think a big number of us who spend some time watching TV, well, I am not in the club anymore. Anybody needs my member's card back?

India's LCA To Be Armed With Israeli "Beyond Visual Range Missile".

Israeli defense contractor made Advanced Defense Systems successfully completed the integration of the I-Derby beyond-visual-range (BVR) air-to-air missile on the Indian Air Force’s Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) with the test firing of the missile scheduled for the end of 2018, Flight Global reports.

Every country is in the fight for dominance, who will gain more and who will be the first to do it. Less war, more love people!
