WORLDS'S LARGEST AIRCRAFT - Launched By Microsoft Co-founder Paul Allen | Stunning Photos & Video
The STRATOLAUNCH aircraft is what aeronautical dreams are made of - it is colossal and beautiful.
Owned by Paul Allen, the Microsoft co-founder, the plane rolled out of it's hanger in the Mojave desert for fuel testing, and the world got to witness another technological marvel.
Specifications:
The plane is 15 m high, has a wingspan of 385 feet and weighs approximately 5,00,000 pounds (2,27,000 kilograms)
It has a whopping 28 wheels
It is powered by six 747 aircraft engines

The Purpose Of Such A Huge Plane?
The creators intend to use the plane to launch rockets/satellites into space. Equipped to travel to an altitude of 10,7000 m, the Stratolaunch would drop the rockets thereby "air launching" the satellites into space.
The project spanning six years is currently testing the plane on ground for it's systems and engines.
The plane is scheduled to take it's first flight in 2019. Can't wait to see the plane in action.

Interesting Post , there are 2 Fuselage's with no means of getting through from one to the other. Looks like 2 separate Cockpits, can you imagine if the Comms go Down? or they have an argument about where they are going ? I gather the one Fuselage is for those who use deodorant ?, and the other? ( you know) This could very well be the biggest Tragi- Comedy ever made!
haha, valid observation. the construction does leave room for concern but we'll really know the outcome when it goes for the test flight.
