There's been a bullshit theory going around that the GTX 2080 will cost up to $1500 without any proof or source whatsoever other than one person thinks it could be true. However, that's not stopped many major websites circulating this rumor as possible fact. I'm here to debunk this complete and utter rubbish.

Why risk it and be the bad guy?
I see no reason why milkvidia wouldn't milk their fanbase with new Titan xXPp with juicy 1499 variant based on Volta or whatever architecture sometime in Q3 or Q4 2018. It just good for marketing and mindshare.
