Proof of concept Supercapacitor
One battery pack died on the cordless, didn't want to buy a new drill (doesn't get a lot of use) or replace the batteries with other batteries as they would just sit. Hence the idea of replacing the individual batteries with super capacitors. Below is pic of the modified pack which now contains super capacitors.
How long does it last on a charge?
How long does it take to charge?
Holds enough charge for about 6 screws/holes, but only takes about two minutes to charge. If I had a better power supply would be less time.
When you get home and the other half says I want this picture hung, too easy.
