Anyone who regularly keep up with the news has probably noticed lot's of buzz surrounding self-driving cars. Research carried out by Google, among others, has promised to usher in an age of more driving convenience and safety. Improved safety is heavily promoted by the industry considering that human error is among the highest causes of traffic accidents.

Waymo Better Than The Competition?

Until very recently, self-driving cars have been required to have a human co-pilot to monitor and take control, if necessary, while operating on public streets. Well it seems the State of Arizona will soon allow Waymo transportation network company (TNC), a Google driving subsidiary, to begin round the clock fleet operations. Testing has taken place in the greater Phoenix area since April 2017. The company plans to extent the service to other major cities within the coming years.
