11 year partnership between HTC and Google.

                                 Google and HTC has a great friendship other than their business partnership. Even before 2007 when Steve jobs announced the iphone, HTC and google already had developed their first android phone "sooner"(That's the actual name of the prototype). Later in 2008 HTC announced the first android phone, HTC Dream(a.k.a.  T-mobile G1).

                                  It was in 2005 that google had bought android. Android wasn't available for the public till 2008.  There were many joint development between HTC, google and the us carrier T-mobile. The HTC dream had only 192 MB ram and 256 MB internal memory. It had a 3.2 inch screen  and a 3 megapixel camera. It got updates till android version doughnut.

                                 Google wanted to have their own smartphone brand. So,HTC and google launched the Nexus One together in 2010. The Nexus 9 Tablet was also developed by HTC in 2014.

                                            Last year HTC and Google jointly created the Google Pixel and pixel XL . The phone was praised by most reviewers for its speed and reliability(also the best phone camera of 2016). Although google didn't mention HTC's name anywhere. HTC remained a silent partner.

                                                   The new google Pixel 2 is also said to be manufacture by HTC and Google Together. There has also been reports that HTC Pixel team was bought by Google for 1.1 Billion USD.
