Debian 9.0 "Stretch" is being released TODAY :)
Today it's a great day for Linux lovers Debian 9.0 "Stretch" is being released as I write this short article this supposed to be the most advanced Debian distribution to the date.
Debian is one of the best known Linux Distribution due to its stability and robustness although the system is often updated to fix errors it usually takes a lot of time between major updates and changes of version, so, when one of these version changes is about to arrive it often causes a great expectation among users
What's new on Debian 9 "Stretch"?
The new Debian 9.0 "Stretch" wants to become the most advanced and stable version so far. Therefore compared to the previous version 8.0 this new is characterized by bringing much more software by default than the previous one with a total of 15346 new packages making a total of 51687 packages that shape the entire operating system. In addition to the new packages almost 7000 have been removed from the previous version by being considered obsolete so undoubtedly the new Debian 9.0 "Stretch" is going to be much more than a simple upgrade it will be a new vital stage for the growth of Debian and Debian base distros such as UBUNTU or SteamOS

I can't wait to execute my apt-get dist-upgrade and see all this new distro has to offer
Cheers
Man, that gives ma a lot of hype! Every release of a distro Update usually seems like the universe has changed lol!
Today I started to install my first Linux container I think this is the present and future of what we now call virtulization ... I'm making a backup of all my files because "You never know" and I'll be ready to upgrade in a two hours period :)
