Reasonably-durable, yet good looking
HTC 10 Evo (125€)
Looking for compromise between performance, durability and beauty? Look no further than HTC 10 Evo. This used to be HTC's flagship offering in early 2017. Unfortunately for HTC, it didn't sell too well (most likely because of its 500€ price tag). Fortunately for us, in mid 2018 you can get it new for a quarter of its original price. And apart from having reasonable specs and camera, it is also waterproof, dust-proof, and the display can survive drops from 1.5 meters. And you don't look like oil rig worker when you take it out of your pocket.

Huawei Honor 8 (168 €)
While there are plenty of 300€ camera phones, there is only one phone that caught my attention at slightly more than half that price. Sony IMX286 image sensor combined with other reasonable parameters, enables it to outperform even flagship Xiaomi Mi6 in photography tests. It compromises a little bit on other aspects, but at this price point (or even 150€ more) you won't get a better camera phone.

Battery
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 (189€)
If you are looking for a great smartphone (quite literally - it's 6.4 inches), with massive battery, good camera and reasonable performance, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is definitely designed for you. Watch out for some budget battery phones. They will boost massive battery capacities. However, their hardware and software are very poor - resulting in worse battery life, despite the larger battery capacity. On the other hand, other budget devices will indeed have fantastic battery life, but they will compromise on performance and camera to the point of being unusable.

Ultra-durable
Dogee S60 (259€)
There are plenty of low-end ultra-durable smartphones. However, there is one major problem with them. They compromise on pretty much everything - performance, camera, screen, sensors. Basically these are devices that cost 150€ and can endure a few hits, but are otherwise inferior to smartphones like China Mobile A3S for 50€.
Dogee S60 is a notable exception here, as it aims to offer not only good durability, but also be a 'budget flagship killer'. And while that marketing claim is a little far-fetched, Dogee S60 outclasses most of its competitors in the ultra-durable segment in all aspects (including battery life). But still manages to keep the price at somewhat reasonable levels.
