Poker Market Play - Project #3

in #technology6 years ago

This is not a normal poker website. You are not going to make any money here by playing it. What you will get is something way better than that.

The idea

Some of you must have heard about those "1cent bid" websites where you can bid on a product and it will increase the 1cent for each user bidding. In the end, when  time's up, the last person to bid, gets to buy the product for the total amount of cents accumulated.

Poker Market Play (PMP) would have a similar context. The idea, however, is to get the product after winning a poker "tournament".

Some Context

  • User - Can be a company or a person. (e.g: Bestbuy or Fabian).
  • Products - They are posted by the user who wants to sell it and with the price they want to sell it for.
  • PMP fee - The fee would be added to the price of the product and will form the price of the tournament. It should be 5% of the price - the amount to make the ticket
  • Players by Tournament: It will be 50 players by tournament. 5 per room and 10 rooms running at the same time for each tournament. The winner of each room will go to the next round until one person win in the last round.
  • Price by Tournament:  The price to participate would be calculated over the price of the product.
    e.g: Hugo wants to sell a product for 150$ + 7.5 (5% of PMP fees) = 157.5 / 50 (amount of players) = 3.15. That's the price to join the tournament.

 Instructions

1. The user would sign up to the website and would put some money in his account using some gateway of payment in the website (here we will accept some crypto coins as payment too)

2. The user would see some products (representing the tournament) in the main page and would click "Participate".  It would automatically remove the right amount of money in his account. (He can cancel at anytime if before the tournament starts)

3. The user can receive messages by email, sms or browser when the tournament is about to start (almost 50 people)

4. Every time a round begins, each user starts with 200 chips and go round by round until losing or winning.

5. When the tournament is finished, the seller deliver the product and upload the tracking number to the system.

6. When the user receives the product and confirm the deliver, the website transfers the money to the seller account.

That's how I was able to summarize the idea, but what do you Steemians think?

Would that work? Would you play that? Leave a message so I can collect some feedback.

Thanks.
