Polygon.com published on Jan 30, 2018, 1:00 pm EST (19:00 CET) an article titled "The studios that could help Microsoft solve its exclusive game problem", which reports the speculation of David Cole, owner of DFC Intelligence regarding the possibility of Microsoft acquiring EA since that would immediately solve Microsoft's lack of exclusive games. This is definitely a unilateral analysis but I feel, given the timing, that this news article helped EA's stock price.
