Google announces YouTube Music and YouTube Premium

Google announces the release of YouTube Music, a new streaming service for the famous Spotify. Free of charge with the use of advertisements, YouTube Music will offer the best experience in the Premium package, powered by the purchase of a $ 10 subscription. Simultaneously, Google also announces YouTube Premium, a substitute for YouTube Red subscriptions.

YouTube Music comes packed with a mobile app and desktop player that makes it easy to access your favorite tunes. YouTube Music users can choose from thousands of playlists with songs, original music, albums and radio shows, along with all the music videos available on YouTube. Additionally, different remixes and covers of original songs can be discovered and the search function assists in discovering interesting creations even when you do not know exactly what you want.

The app can display personalized song recommendations on the main screen of the mobile phone, based on listening history, where we are and what we do. For example relaxing songs could be recommended while flying by plane or motivating us to visit the fitness room.

YouTube Premium is the new name of YouTube Red. Available for a $ 11.99 subscription, the service offers a YouTube-free experience and original YouTube content access.
