How to disable access to USB ports
Do you want to stop people stealing data from your computer via USB ports, then this blog is for you.
You can now disable the USB port as and when required easily through registry editor
Please follow the below steps
1.Hit 'Windows' key + 'R' key on your keyboard, go to 'Run' command and enter 'regedit' to access the 'Registry editor'.
2.Navigate to the path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR"
3.Double Click on Start and enter '4' in the 'Value Data' text field and click OK
4.Close the registry and refresh your desktop.
5.USB ports on your computer are now disabled.
6. To re-activate the USB ports and enter '3' in the 'Value Data' text field and click OK like step 3.
This is how you can easily activate or deactivate the access to USB ports.
