We just finished watching the documentary on Netflix called AlphaGo by director Greg Kohs, for the second time. This is a marvelous documentary, and we highly recommend it.

The documentary is not just about AlphaGo, and AI, but also about Lee Sedol (considered the best Go player for the last decade), and humanity.

Lee Sedol - The Yin

Lee Sedol is the Yin of the movie. The transformation of Lee Sedol throughout the documentary is amazing. Watching the pressure Lee Sedol faces as he battles for not only himself, his country, but for all humanity, is heartbreaking. The nobility, and strength, of this man is one of the core tenants of this film.

The AlphaGo Team - The Yang

The AlphaGo Team is the Yang of the movie. This amazing group of computer scientist transforms computer science to art. They stare as intently to the computer screen, and Lee Sedol, does at the board. The emotions, and camaraderie of the Team, is a mirror of community, and humanity.

Move 37 - AI and Humanity

On the surface the movie as about computers, and AI. AlphaGo, is at its very essence, about humanity. AlphaGo is a creation of mankind. A masterpiece painted by a group of computer scientist to take humanity to another level. AlphaGo has redefined creativity as we know it. This is a must see documentary for all of you as we all participate in this technological revolution of computer, AI, blockchain, and thus at its core humanity.
