4K Action Camera An Honest Review.
Ok so let's get to it, I hope you like the cheesy looking photo of me sporting my GFG t-shirt and my new 4K action camera I purchased from wish.com. Before I begin I'd like to mention that this review is an honest review and I have purchased this camera using my own hard earned money. I have not been endorsed by Wish.com to write this review.
For some time now I have been looking at Go Pro cameras and thinking I would like to buy one. With no real reason to buy now I resisted my urges until this month, as you are aware we have a podcast in the works and I have used that as an excuse to buy this camera so I can film the podcast for YouTube. Unfortunately I do not have the money for an official Go Pro so figured this would be the next best thing for me and well worth the risk at only £30 plus shipping which is a fraction of the cost of a Go Pro.
The first image is of the Hard case that the camera comes with and also a look at the contents inside straight out of the box.
As you can see the case is pretty sturdy but at first glance we can see the 4K camera hidden amongst various plastic bags. These bags contain all the accessories that came with the camera at no extra cost. I would like to point out that a set like this with a brand new Go Pro would cost in excess of £300.
The next image shows everything out of the packets and laid out on the table.
Out of the packets there are various different brackets to fix the camera to different items such as the handle bars on your bike or even attach it to your helmet.
You also get a spare battery and a battery charger with a USB plug and cable, also a standard case that isn't water proof like the current case. The set even Includes a switch to strap to your wrist so you can stop and start filming without touching the camera. See the below image of all the accessories close up.
All of the accessories appear to be of a high quality and are a great bonus for such a cheap price. It basically does everything a Go Pro would do with a smaller price tag.
The below images are a close up of the front and back of the camera. As you can see the camera is cased within a waterproof housing for extra security. The camera itself is about half the size when the case is removed.
So out of the box I'm really impressed with this camera I haven't had chance to use it yet but I'll be using it next week to record some skateboarding I will be doing.
Below are the specifications of the camera for anyone interested. As I said this is not a paid review so I haven't provided a link to the actual camera. But if you download the Wish.com application you will be able to find it on there by searching "4K Action Camera". For the price I really can't complain it feels like a real quality camera and compared to the GO Pros I have seen I can't really see a huge difference.
