Trust me there are fake iPhone 6 and 6s here and there! Just be cautious and prudent when getting yours by following the itemized guidelines:

1. Firstly, let us start from the phone logo. Check the back of the phone and confirm that it has a little glow like Apple logo.

2. Observe the lettering at the back of the phone and notice any discrepancy in the height and size.

3. Try and lock the phone and unlock. If the animated unlock feature which suppose to be a slide to unlock style is only pure white screen, it's probably a fake.

4. When typing check if the the space bar button is blank. Real iPhone 6 and 6s has "Space" written on it.

5. Check the battery bar display, if it has any other color than white then you have spotted a counterfeit.

6. Simply try iTunes connection with your phone, if it return error or shows nothing then the implication is that iTunes reject your phone. It's a fake.

7. Another reliable step that can be taken to detect a fake iPhone is to visit the official Apple website and navigate to where you can confirm the authenticity of your phone by entering the serial number. Go to Settings > General > About on your mobile and you will see the serial.

8. If you press the power button, you will hear a click like sound. Most counterfeits lack this.
