A Human Army Teaches AI to Drive
Mighty AI is a training data as a service (TDaaS) company. It provides robocar makers with very highly specialized annotated datasets. What it does is that it outsources data annotation to an army of human users. The users use the Spare5 web and mobile app of this company to train datasets for driving. They tell the AI where the obstacles or pedestrians are located and so on. And they earn a few bucks doing this job. So, the self-driving cars are actually very labor-intensive for humans. But in the end, they will make life easier for us.
