Amazon started making home deliveries through drones!
For some time amazon was thinking of sending shipments to their customers by means of drones, in this way they would be avoiding the traffic.
The drones will launch the packages from several meters high, since these devices generate a great noise.
The first delivery by drone was to a UK customer who received their package 13 minutes after they purchased it.
The drone is programmed with the coordinates for delivery and is guided via gps, has capacity to carry packages up to 2.2 kg.
Imagine the day drones pick us up at home in the morning, a drops us off at work. No more rush traffic, traffic jams and packed subways.

Hopefully this method will be more accurate than UPS. We've had some serious issues with their driver leaving our packages at the wrong address on the other side of town. If this navigates by gps then it should be pretty accurate. Speed of delivery sounds impressive as well.
If the drones will be able to solve that problem since it will be via GPS and will be programmed with the coordinates.
