ARE WE READY FOR MAGIC LEAP?

Magic Leap is perhaps the biggest name in tech that you probably know nothing about yet.

They are an augmented-reality and mixed-reality company that has recently been making big waves after Google and other investors invested over a billion dollars into the Florida-based startup...

Magic Leap - How it Began

Magic Leap is a U.S. startup company that is working on a head-mounted virtual retinal display which superimposes 3D computer-generated imagery over real-world objects, by projecting a digital light.

Magic Leap has demonstrated its ability to put a virtual baby elephant in your hands, shown whales jumping out of gym floors (seen above) and even brings the solar system into your home office...

In one of Magic Leap's latest videos they show their potential to replace your PC with their tech... The demonstrator is seen checking emails and three-dimensional charts and shopping for shoes etc.

Magic Leap joining forces with Lucasfilms

In December 2016 Forbes estimated that Magic Leap was worth $4.5 billion... As of November 2017, the company has not released a product to the market... So it is yet to be seen when we will actually get anything from MAGIC LEAP but with companies like google pouring hundreds of millions into it I am sure something very cool will come from it sooner rather than later.

This could also just be one of those tech things that seems really cool but ends up just being a fad. I see a lot of possibilities with movies and video games though. Id love to see what you all think about Magic Leaps tech. Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for viewing and reading!

My mind just exploded with all the cool movies and different types of video games that could be made using this technology. I hope this wins out, the future of gaming looks bright! Thanks for sharing! Great amount of information and very well put together!
